Excellent benefits, very likable, coworkers. Progressive company.

Cons

Supervisors may not have managerial skills or prior experience and may be micromanaging. Sometimes the assignments can be overwhelming. Lots of pressure in summer/early fall to meet submission deadlines.

- Not transparent about decisions. Very cagy and impersonal about salary and internal processes. - Very disorganized and rushed in onboarding under the new GHTASC contract with USAID--pretty embarrassing honestly. The disfunction continues 12 months into the contract. - Pay levels not always consistent across employees. New hires sometimes get better pay offers and current employees unable to negotiate for higher salary in practice.

Cons

The harder you work, the less you are recognized and the more work you get. The lazy staff get all the recognition and promotions Supervisors act as if they are constantly working and in meetings, when really they are never 'there' or actively working. Promotions are by default and not by merit or experience It can be a very stressful environment
