Pros

Excellent research institution with plenty of resources, ranging from team of lawyer to patent/copyright your research work to newly renovate recreational center. Professor, grad students, and staff are very helpful.

Cons

The role of thesis advisor(s) is very important. Do not overlook the uncomfortable encounters and working style. These often times lead to less desirable outcome or bigger problem after the first year. If you are a PHD student be prepare for the last year of thesis, most people work >10hrs everyday including weekend.

Cons

-Pay is low, at only $9/hr, especially considering the expertise needed. -Teaching assistants do the majority of the grunt work needed to keep the class functioning.
