Pros

Purdue has a lot of very smart professors. It's possible to learn a whole lot of specialized, interesting stuff. If you're the type who doesn't mind spending your whole life in a lab or office trying to figure stuff out ny yourself, then you might like it here.

Cons

It was pretty hard to get individual help. Some places try to catch the people who slip through the cracks, but Purdue will just let you go. Also, the quality of teaching is mixed.

They personally ask you what you want to do with your life after you graduate and try to tailor the job to give you great work experience.

Cons

If you stay over the summer it could be tough to get enough hours. It all depends on the area of work though.
