Above average benefits and vacation. Most employees at the branch level are good and are the reason why Purolator International is still around.
Cons
Senior Executives at Purolator International manage using 1960-style transportation management techniques including fear, threats and burning and churning through managers and sales. Executives take care of themselves at the expense of employees. There is a high degree of nepitism at the senior level. Some of the managers above the branch level have no transportation, managerial and/or sales experience. The poor decisions made by these managers really show their lack of experience. They have hired many people from large multinational transportation companies. Many of these people tend not to stay for long once they realize the mistake they made by coming over to a poorly managed company from world-class organizations.
