- If you are in HR or any of the other practice support areas, the increases and bonuses are way below market. The firm relies on the fact people in IFS won't leave (and they usually don't). Most of the people value the flexibility the firm offers.
Career progression in IFS is almost non-existent... It is hard to be promoted when the people above you won't leave or progress...
Also, when there's an opportunity, well-connected people are usually the ones to get the jobs, even if they don't have any experience related to the role.
The benefits offered by the firm keep getting worse. Their health insurance is a joke, with high deductibles. A family of 3 has to spend more than 10K before insurance kicks in... (and the premiums are absurd).
The current Senior Partner only seems to be concerned with money and how to repay his peers after his election...
