Pros

Hybrid work, in the office/client site 2-3 days a week

Cons

Seniors and upper management yell at you, and I averaged over 70 hours a week while working at PwC.

Pros

The main reason I stayed was because of the benefits & flexible work schedule.

Cons

Client services is where the money is, business services is underpaid. It's hard to move up unless you're a kiss up.

Pros

Most people know what they're getting into when signing up for Big4. There were definitely some low moments but it was an investment I was willing to put up with for the time being. Broad strokes speaking, everyone was really nice and willing to help. I went in with the mentality knowing I wasn't going to stay long so I was going to suck as much value as I could from the firm before I left. Lots of resources and benefits that made it feel worth it at the time

Cons

The business model they're currently moving towards i.e. outsourcing to cheaper countries. Leaves wide knowledge gaps for associates starting out. I have no idea how they project this panning out once all the young staff begin to climb higher up the food chain.
