Pros

What lured me to PwC were brand name, and bright people. Though both of these still hold true, I learned that there is a lot of kissing butts to do once you get there.

Cons

Very little guidance on the expectation of deliverables, so your work is hit or miss, and therefore so is your performance review. 90% of my work was with managers from other offices (which wasn't very productive, because working over the phone and sametime can be hell). There is very little recognition for all the times you are asked to work on holidays or weekends. My bonus was insulting. Lots of gossiping, politics, and back-biting. Overall a very nasty place to work.

Pros

good solid brand name, opportunities to get ahead, looks really good on your CV if you stick around, in some offices theres lots of support and great people but in others its dog eat dog

Cons

people there a nice but can be boring, its a good brand name and place to start your career but as abig4 its undistinguished, not a high performance culture that leaves you excited to go to work
