      A good job but...

      Pros

      Career opportunities. As part of the audit team I have had the chance to knew different people and create a big network. The different projects and type of works bring me the chance to increase my abilities and skills. Leadership in a field work.

      Cons

      Lack of balance between compensation and the work done. There aren´t a clear recognition of the work done. There aren´t differences betweeen the manager that have a "high quality delivery" and the manager that haven´t. Learning and education responsabilities are not properly dessigned in order to ensure that all managers are included in training sessions to seniors and associates.

      Pros

      Variety of clients, good study support, exit opportunities are good at the end of your training contract.

      Cons

      Unless you're one of the 'chosen few' viewed as partner material then you're basically treated as expendable-the staff turnover is extremely high. The system is very 'one size fits all' and promotion is based more on politics than on any form of demonstrable performance. The hours are also excessive (60+) and there is a culture of not charging time which allows senior management to stick their heads in the sand and claim no-ones working long hours.
