Pros

Technology is not something PwC is famous for globally. But in India, they have been in the business for more than a decade, notably before the IBM split in 2002. Post the end of the 5 year non compete agreement in 2007, the company has been trying to re establish its technology consulting practice. India is a crucial part of this strategy since a large part of the Internal Back office technology work for PwC US happens out of the India firm office. However, recent events including the Satyam episode has queered the pitch slightly and the Indian practice may not grow as much as originally planned/estimated. Overall fingers crossed.

Cons

Lack of coherent vision in the Technology consulting space, too many variables keep changing. Lot of domestic projects with low margins means people need to be squeezed.
