Pros

A global professional environment. Traiing and learning is emphasized. Friendly nice people to work with. A fun culture.

Cons

Ratings and feedback from managers, even partners, were terrible. I generally had great ratings, but one time I was blindsided by a partner on a review with no warning or feedback. This brings up a seond point: leadership. the badge says "Excellence, teamwork, Leadership." I agree witht he first two, but the last part of the triangel should be "relationships", not leadership. I consistently saw leaders do the wrong things, and always put relationships before standing up and doing the right thing in treating employees well. It is a culture of clib the pyramid and use your employees. This happens because leadership is not taught there ona consistent basis. Profits and relatiosnhips are emphsized.

Pros

Working at PwC helped me build technical skills quickly. The name carries weight on a resume, and I appreciated the formal training early on.

Cons

As an Audit Associate at PwC, I experienced one of the most grueling work environments of my career. The busy season is relentless — you’re expected to completely sacrifice your personal life for nearly four months out of the year. Late nights until 2–3 AM are not uncommon, and weekends are often treated as regular workdays. What made the experience worse was the lack of support from senior team members and management. Rather than fostering a collaborative environment, seniors and managers frequently overloaded associates with excessive tasks while providing minimal guidance. When help was offered, it often came with condescending attitudes, dismissive remarks, or outright belittling. There was little to no regard for employee well-being. Despite putting in long hours and significant effort, I was laid off after two years with little explanation or appreciation for the sacrifices I made. Overall, my time at PwC left me burned out and disillusioned. I would not recommend this role to anyone who values work-life balance, a supportive team, or long-term career growth.

Pros

As a new hire associate, they treat you with amazing experiences and opportunities. I was excited about work when I first started and loved everyone I worked with. They mentioned they were flexible in letting their employees explore and try various roles (even if it was in another department) which I was also eager about as a recent grade

Cons

I'm at the two-year mark, and I've seen a different side of PwC. In my current engagement, the team is genuinely rude to each other and talks about other team members' performance on group calls without that team member present. I brought this up to HR about how toxic my team was in the way they talk to each other (literally sometimes screaming matched) and how they talk about each other, and I was told, "People just lead differently." Additionally, I have voiced and actively tried to move departments or at least moving teams for the last eight months and have received little to no guidance or help at a company that claimed to "encourage" movement. your whole pwc experience depends on the roll of a die of what team you get & then you're stuck with them
