      Great company as a stepping stone

      Pros

      Get to do a lot of work, and learn a lot. Great name on your resume.

      Cons

      Promotions and raises are not always about how hard you work and how much you do or how much you have learned. The real end result doesn't always equate to people who you work so hard for appreciating or realizing how hard you work. The new discussions on making you think about how you performed and how you can do it better is suppose to make you see things from different angles, but you the firm is also teaching you how to pick on yourself. The firm always expects perfection. Big new flash, nobody is perfect! People are not robots.

      Pros

      PwC offers great benefits and the ability to expand upon your skill set with a vast selection of learning opportunities.

      Cons

      There is absolutely no work-life balance. I recommend this position to those fresh out of school as those with family truly need to evaluate if the time away from home is worth it. The performance program at PwC is seriously flawed. Any achievements are grossly overshadowed by an area needing improvement.

      Pros

      Smart, welcoming, driven people to work alongside- couldn't ask for a higher caliber team. Plenty of exposure to project roles and more senior clients than one would usually have coming straight out of school. I learned a whole lot about what to expect from and how to carry myself in a professional environment.

      Cons

      Much of the work in the Seattle market isn't as flashy or engaging as I would have liked; lots of time is spent on somewhat bland PM work. Compensation increase year over year was fair, but nothing to be excited about.
