Pros

-Small company with big goals, so there are opportunities for significant responsibility and growth in every department. -Leadership genuinely cares about there employees and their thoughts/opinions. Issues with workload, inter-team dynamics, and even company direction addressed in serious and timely ways. -Personal time is actually respected. Performance is very much measured by results and not how many hours a week the "bubble" is green. -The company is almost entirely comprised of very talented, sharp, and pleasant people. Getting help from another team is a joy and never a pain. -Mistakes made by leadership are always addressed and transparently discussed. There isn't a sense that some people (or their egos) are "untouchable." This mentality is echoed through most of the company...when errors happen there is very little focus on blame, but instead on how to correct the problem and make sure it doesn't happen again. -Employees that are underperforming and not making an effort to improve are let go.

Cons

-The other edge of the young company double edge sword...priorities can quickly shift to meet the needs or requests of a customer/investor/whatever. Most seasoned employees have several high priority projects that move from front to back burner and vice versa several times over a year to meet the goals of the company. -Most current employees don't have significant bandwidth for 1-1 training so new hires need to have some self directed learning abilities. -Most people are expected to wear a few hats. In some ways this is nice since it introduces variety into the work week, but can be stressful and frustrating to take on tasks outside of your skillset and/or job description. -Yearly and quarterly goals are often overly optimistic. -Comp isn't at "big tech" levels, but I think that is expected for a company this size.
