They get you employed and offer benefits

Cons

The Heath coverage is expensive, there is no paid time off, and they have organizational issues. There is no notification if your wages get garnished so it's just a nasty surprise if it happens, especially if it was an error in the first place. It took over 2 months to get benefits started, so you may want to get insurance in the mean time or you will be fined under the ACA if you go over 3 months. I have asked for access to my personal records for pay stubs, deductions, etc, but it seems you have to go through the HR department if you want anything.

Pros

Strong recruiters. Helpful when needed, checked in periodically, let me focus on the work. I worked with Priyanka Anand who was great. Let me focus on my customer. I was with same customer for just over 2 years. No issues. Pyramid engaged me as needed but basically let me work.

Cons

No real cons - basic benefits available. Similar to most consulting engagements. Not sure if it was theres or the firm i was contracted to but onboarding was disjointed.

Pyramid has help employed me and has stepped in when I needed them to. Usha has been the most effective person I have worked with at Pyramid. I have had several issues with getting paid and she has always returned my calls within 10 minutes and has made sure my issues were resolved

Cons

I am continuously having issues getting my timecards getting approved and its hard that Pyramid is out of the state that I live in
