Pros

This is the kind of company that takes hard work and good ideas seriously. And a lot of colleagues are nice, smart folks. The leadership team—particularly the CEO and some of the other C-suite leaders—are very good at what they do, and manage the org very well.

Cons

Quad is an organization that was purpose built and has had to evolve significantly, making it an extremely complex place. It has a 6-sigma-style continuous improvement culture which is a double edged sword that can lead to constant improvement but also to analysis paralysis and the occasional fixing what ain’t broke. The biggest challenge is it’s transformation, which is extremely exciting but will also ultimately mean that some folks who have done a lot of the same thing for many years and not had to work that hard will find themselves needing to make uncomfortable changes and having to really push themselves.
