Pros

The company forms long-term relationships with their clients, and provides great opportunities for extended engagements. They also have a flexible work environment, with the freedom to achieve goals on any time frame that doesn't interfere with client schedules and needs.

Cons

Flexibility and loose infrastructure means that people need to be good at identifying their own structure. If you are not a self-starter, you may not succeed here. Management will not breathe down your neck telling you what to do, but when all is said and done you better be doing something of value.

Pros

I have been with QualiTest for about 1 and a half years now. I have learned / performed the following: • Remove Internet explorer, downgrade IE • On summer of 2013, tested the next Generation of 4G international roaming. Tested calling, texting, determining if the correct rates were charged to roaming account along with receiving warning messages that you are low on minutes. • Cooked pasta in the office I work at for dinner, since we have a kitchen. • Free tea and Coffee • An opportunity to work on JavaScript in our test tool QMT, which manages test cases • perform fixes to our website in HTML and CSS • Wrote a script in a macro language that automatically performs a small task on my report writing • Free exercise classes, twice a week, including self-defense • Once a month party for all employees who have birthdays for that month • Perform website testing for the website of my all time favorite video game, Saints Row • Perform website testing for Aruba resort, and then noticed advertisements for what I tested on the train I take to work. • Perform website testing for an Incredible Hotel Resort in Hawaii. • Performed a second round of testing on a Resort's website, in which the developers only fixed 5 bugs after the first test cycle, resulting in receiving a kind thank you email from the client's project manager of the Resort's website thanking me for all my hard work. • Proved my organizational skills when I managed around 6 projects at the same time including how many hours each employee worked using an excel document, which was required so we know how much to bill the customer. • How to change my VPN security settings on Windows 8 to Remote Desktop into our office server from home • How to use perfecto mobile • Using a proxy service to access a website from a large selection of countries • How to use command line to restore virtual machines on our Linux server. • Learned new skills and added them to our "How To" page on our company website. • Take an online course relevant to automation testing • Tested a mobile application that allows users to scan in receipts from shopping at a large super market to earn points towards a free gift card for the store I shopped at.

Cons

• About once every two months, there may be an important project and staying longer hours to complete it would be appreciated by your customer, which you of course get paid for. • Rough Traffic around the office during rush hour 7-9am 4-6pm. Although unless you are making a decision between a job in which you work from home and QualiTest, this would be an issue for any job in this area. • Seats in the office are sometimes running low. They are doing their best to open new offices to keep up with the rate of new employees hired, but sometimes we may have to use our conference room to seat employees.
