Pros

The salary was quite a bump from where I was at and they came to me fast and furious to be onboarded.

Cons

The team culture and dynamics were highly emotional, people crying and fighting daily. I had one employee who told me the Monday of my second week, "I was not scared to come to work this week, for the first time since I started." Lack of process and procedures opened the company up to litigation and lost a major client and previous director due to data fraud. Yet the team was unwilling to make the changes needed to prevent that from happening and leadership dragged their feet in approving clear concise reorg charts for roles and responsibilities, so the inevitable happened... data fraud yet again, only this time with their largest client. This also impacted their ability to onboard anyone in PMO because they have no RACI or E2E processes.

Pros

depends what location you are in. - Fairfield, CT (beware of CEO) NJ - They will run you through hoops over and over and still tell you, "no you're not good enough" San Diego - They play hard and work hard ONLY for their office TX - Small and Growing - no one speaks up for themselves due to fear of being punished or fired

Cons

Promotion within is a lie - Full-Time jobs aren't "exactly" full-time. (when a project ends, your job ends) Low Salary (they will be as cheap as possible but try to sell the opportunity of "learning") Politics are HUGE in this company - favorites are treated well - seniority gets what they want - management micromanages and does not allow you to think for yourself - no learning curves, challenges, or your ideas will be taken into consideration (they want to mold you into a QualiTest Robot)

Qualitest Response

Thank you for giving us your honest feedback. I am sorry that you are not having a good experience at QualiTest. We believe that our employees are the most important part of the company and truly value them. For example, we want people to grow with us; therefore, we have started to implement career plans. These career plans outline pay structures, promotions, and development programs over the course of a two year period. Another way in which we promote professional development is by sending employees to conferences and trainings. In addition to our professional development, performance management also plays a huge role. We work closely with all of our employees to make sure they are getting useful feedback and enjoying what they do. In order to show our appreciation, we host many different events, while it is true that most of our events provide free food, they also serve as a way to give back to the employees and recognize the hard work of individuals. For example, every quarter we host a special recognition ceremony to highlight an “Employee of the Quarter.” We try to foster an environment where people can truly feel like they are a part of a family, which is why people tend to create lasting friendships with their co-workers. If you are unhappy, we encourage you to speak with HR so your needs can be addressed effectively – we always try to do what’s best for the QualiTest family! Thank you again for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are constantly striving to improve; therefore, the feedback is appreciated.
