A Company to Retire From

Pros

QC is a secure company with great benefits and caring management. I run the show at my Terminal with no other staff to assist. I enjoy having the connection to both the drivers and the customers. I am given the freedom to work at home part of the week and I can step out for doctor's (or other) appointments as needed.

Cons

I run the show at my Terminal. This makes it difficult to go on vacation or even take day off. I am usually contacted for one problem or another so I am never really away from my job. It also means I sometimes come back to chaos. I am also running old trailers even though I was told several years ago that we would get new trailers within 2 years. I am still waiting (although I really appreciate the new trucks!!).

Pros

Pros were there were a few good techs in the shop that honestly wanted to do thier best. The company and thier values though...

Cons

Down side is that the upper managent is a real joke. If you're applying as a driver it'll be great for you. As far as the shop side. I would steer clear as far as you can. It's a highly toxic and hostile environment.
