Pros

The part-time schedule (which was new when I was offered the position) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., six days a week provides enough time to complete maintenance demands for this 61 room motel.

Cons

Bringing trade knowledge to this position is worth more than the current hourly wage. No benefits are offered/provided. One must be within the parameters to benefit from Badger-care.

Pros

Plenty of hours and opportunity for overtime, interaction with customer was pleasant and the benefits of good hotel rates were nice.

Cons

minimum wage was not enough to deal with all the responsibilities that were given, having to be on call at all time for another desk attendant calling out was more than a bit ridiculous.
