I enjoyed working there but the pay was terrible to be a high traffic resort area.

Pros

It hardly was busy so lots of downtime. Especially night shift Everyone was understanding when it came to personal/family emergencies

Cons

Everyone was paid $9/hr and no one got any raises. Even housekeeping and maintenance. The owners said they wanted to be paid the same amount. Even the managers. They allowed an employee to live there and that caused a lot of drama. Non managers thought they were managers, nothing was done about that They had cameras but wasn’t recording so it was useless if something bad happened You work by yourself, no other employee worked a shift with you. No security, if something happened it was just an “oh well things happen” and move you to a different shift
