Communication - non-existent from top management. Values - not defined, and the culture reflects it. Top management seems to have given up on improving toxic culture - possibly due to push back from old timers who feel its unfair others don't have to suffer like they did. Negativity, blame, and scolding are used as motivation. High turnover and inability to attract new talent has led to dangerous resource limitations. People get stuck in roles they don't want, get turned down for career advancement because of resource issues, then they quit, and the cycle repeats.

Old school company, average employee age is very high and technology is behind modern standards. They have started to modernize a bit, but only in response to the impending brain drain that will happen when the retirement wave hits in the next decade. Company hit hard by Chinese tariffs, and they have been downsizing heavily especially in non-manufacturing positions. Too much micro-management at top level. Compensation tends to be lower than at market value.
