Business Outlook
Pros
Good pay and benefits. Fairly flexible work environment. There is a lot of growth that is happening so the jobs are stable. Senior management (Directors, VPs, etc) are reasonable and seem to be easy to approach and work with.
Cons
They don't believe in working from home, though some teams do it anyway. Regardless of what they say, you are expected to be on call 24/7. There are no SLAs in place for any system. Because of this stress levels are very high. Some managers are very good, others are horrible and should not be in the role given to them. All decisions come from a small group at the top so don't expect to make a real change in procedures or projects. You would do good to just keep your head down and do your work.
