      Utilimap, great place to work when work is plentiful.

      Pros

      Little supervision upon completing field training, company vehicle, gas card, paid hotel rooms, very high safety standards, and an overall sense of family for all employees.

      Cons

      Work is contracted and not guaranteed, temporary lay offs yearly due to finishing contracts early and waiting for new year to begin.

      Pros

      Freedom to be able to do your job how you wanted and when as long as it was done correctly. I really liked the managers I had they were just in over their head and didn't have enough experience in the field.

      Cons

      Company was very disorganized and had management that where managing departments they didn't know in depth about. Changed the vacation policy all the time and actually changed it and took a week vacation from a lot of people. Extremely cheap and didn't want to invest in employees unless the utility company they were contracted for forced them too.

      Pros

      The people at Quanta are great, and there's definitely a team mentality. The company's performance and growth is very strong, and there are always new and interesting projects to work on. Upper management is committed to providing necessary resources to the various departments to ensure people have the tools they need to succeed. The company has also recently updated the bonus program to focus more on individual and department performance, rather than overall company performance.

      Cons

      Paid time off is limited to two weeks. The financial reporting system is a bit outdated, although there is a plan in place to upgrade soon.
