Pros

- Phil has a great vision which will hopefully be actualised this year - If you have a good manager you can have a fairly flexible schedule and work from home at times - Perks are incredible, free food all day, after work drinking, travel - New offices across the board

Cons

- The teams are confused about how to drive the products and what they actually have to sell - HR is awful, make sure to check your contract is right and if you ever need a Visa - do it yourself - You have to develop yourself - A lot of pointless management that never make any decisions - No real career growth

Pros

Wonderful, smart, fun people who get a lot done. Many like to hang out often after work. Lean teams, which mean you'll get to learn and do so much here. Technologies and scale that impress people inside and outside the company. Many things don't have a process in place, so if you make a good case to your manager, you can probably get it. Business continues to grow constantly, so it's exciting to be part of. Culture is built ground-up. Employees start traditions instead of management sponsoring things they think people will like. Not much politics. A lot of employees have been here many years. This is impressive for a small company in this market. Spends money carefully.

Cons

The office isn't as nice as other tech companies in the area, but we're moving to a new office in a few months which should address this. Salaries are lower than some other companies. All these things are probably on purpose though. A lot of people respect executive leadership for not buying into the hype and taking in more funding just because other companies are doing it.

Smart people, fun environment, great benefits, organisational mess.

Pros

Lovely smart people to work with and learn from. Free food and benefits a big plus and a nice office social culture with team events and after work drinks.

Cons

Roles are poorly defined and management always seems to be struggling to sort things out. As soon as things start to stabilise, there's always another severe shift or radical change of game from upper management. Seniors and mid levels hired from outside organisation so no real progression opportunities. All real talent leaves. Company Means well, but organisational mess.
