Pros

Unique data asset, some good people

Cons

Lack of discipline in execution, slow moving, too much mid-level mediocrity, lack of global alignment, stale product org, unwilling to make hard decisions on product or people, 9-5 attitude.

Pros

The people are great. It's a place you won't mind going every day. There are some really smart people here and everyone is so nice. There are some great perks and we are looked after well.

Cons

There is nowhere to go once you're in the door. After a number of years observing people in here it is clear that progression is not high on the list. We're focused on getting money in the door and prepping for an IPO, that we forget that the reason we're able to do these things is because of the people. As a company we "talk" about progression, but in fact unless you're on someone's good side it will never happen. We also hang onto to poor employees far to long.

Smart people, fun environment, great benefits, organisational mess.

Pros

Lovely smart people to work with and learn from. Free food and benefits a big plus and a nice office social culture with team events and after work drinks.

Cons

Roles are poorly defined and management always seems to be struggling to sort things out. As soon as things start to stabilise, there's always another severe shift or radical change of game from upper management. Seniors and mid levels hired from outside organisation so no real progression opportunities. All real talent leaves. Company Means well, but organisational mess.
