Pros

Quantcast is a great place to work, with all the standard startup perks (good health care, free lunch, battery powered scooters, etc) and very sharp staff. But the best part is that we are growing fast and really starting to win as a company.

Cons

Being pre-IPO, the salaries are a bit low. Maybe higher than other startups but not google or facebook levels. Guess we don't have to commute to Mountain View though.

Pros

smart company, and true industry leaders. You have to come with an open mind, as you will walk in to a room with people much smarter than the industry at large (even if you come from the digital space!). Ambitious company with big plans make this place fun and challenging. It is great walking into a company that truly changes the "old" way of doing business. CHECK YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR! The nice thing with Quantcast is that the technology is strong, there is a true long term vision. To sell a product that is industry leading is wonderful.

Cons

As most companies that are growing fast, there are your occasional hiccups and missteps.

Pros

I think that people come to work at Quantcast because the company gives them the ability to own and work on challenging, substantial problems that clearly have impact. The people that make up the organization are wonderful--smart, approachable, down to earth, and get things done. The opportunities, people, and upside are probably the things that are most rewarding. The idea that you are working on something big and trying to make it big is a constant driving force. It's a relatively small company, which gives people the freedom to "just do things" to solve an abundant set of novel problems.

Cons

The company is growing fairly rapidly, so there are still kinks being worked out to balance facilities/amenities with this growth. I think that the way things are improving, this will be a non-issue in time.
