Pros

Generous with food, prizes, etc.

Cons

My main concerns is that nurses are 'managed' by non-clinical people. Where do you ever see this? Nowhere! Some of these manager are very nice people and well versed regarding insurance but that is it. Poor form Quantum. Nurses are professionals, not line cooks. This is viewed as complete ridiculousness and the nurses do not take this seriously at all. How can they? I am a newer employee and hear that the nurses who have been at Quantum longer came in at a similar rate to the newer nurses. A good HR wouldn't let this go on and would make adjustments to their loyal and more senior nurses. That is respectful and a way to keep good employees. Free popcorn is nice but the nurses are looking for respect and compensation. Fix that, then you might not have 15+ nurses actively looking for other employment.

Pros

Quantum continues to grow and it is so exciting and awesome to watch what we are able to do for so many people.

Cons

If you are looking for consistency in management you will not find it here. It is disheartening to see what they choose to sweep under the rug and what they choose to act on. There have been two well known people let go this year, one a long standing employee, for "racism." However, there is a manager who on multiple occasions has said inappropriate things to people, made people feel uncomfortable and not only have the directors been aware but so has HR. Nothing is done, and not only is nothing done this manager is praised and given opportunities to excel. It is a spit in the face to those who have spoken up and further reassures the people that have not spoken up for fear. If you speak up, your feedback reflects poorly on you in conversations behind closed doors and everyone knows it. Or your feedback is discredited by a director and a blind eye is turned. It's obvious if you look at all of the feedback on Glassdoor that there is an issue and there is fear of speaking up.

Sorry, I had to comment after reading a Director's comment below

Pros

Historically a fun, fast paced place to work and yes "free food", (usually too much of it).

Cons

OK, so what prompted a reply - well, there's a Director who posted that; not having processes an process owners in place in perceived as a good thing, in their opinion. Quantum Health is a 'operations oriented' business delivering customer service, chronic condition management and case management to client who believe they are going to save money by buying into the model. In order to deliver on this commitment to the customer...THERE NEEDS TO BE PROCESS! Having a person in a leadership role who believes that not having processes or process owners in place is is a good thing; is exactly what's wrong with Quantum Health. This is not a start up anymore, every competitor in the space has clearly defines processes that have been institutionalized - so if you like clueless leaders like this, inconsistency in message from middle management...this may be the place for you.
