Pros

There are some pros for working here, but they're pretty basic/generic. -Work/Life Balance -Benefits -401K Option -Vacation/PBA Offerings -Colleagues

Cons

Lack of merit increases and poor bonuses for lower-salaried employees. The wage gap for women and the unapproachable HR team due to the buddy-system with management. No opportunities for growth within for deserving applicants. Accomplishments, dedication, and hard work go unrecognized. Paid "kick-off" (vacations) for sales teams and massive layoffs and workforce reductions to employees who generate and keep revenue in other departments. I really wish there wasn't a need to focus solely on the "bottom line" with current ownership and that the executive leadership team was focused on continuing with the legacy that was once Quest Software.

Pros

Great office location, very friendly co-workers, decent benefits.

Cons

I recently left Quest for a much better paying technology sales job. They are currently holding my last pay check hostage, and have informed me it will take 3 months to be paid my final commission check. When I requested a call from someone in HR, I was completely ignored. This issue is really just the cherry on top of a terrible working experience at Quest. Honestly, do your self a favor and take any other job possible. You will be treated like an entry level employee. Expect to be micromanaged to sell an out dated, over priced software. They do not respect work life balance and during my time I saw reps fired for needing time off to attend doctors appointments and family responsibilities. If you do take a role at Quest, please be warned and also prepare to have your money held hostage.

Dear Former Employee, I'm so sorry to read your comments and would be happy to address some of these things with you via email if you prefer. On the subject of your commissions due, the sales terms and conditions document that you signed as a new employee described this process. A customer has 60 days to pay an invoice and commissions are not paid until a customer has paid Quest. I think you've been notified by our HR team that you will be paid on September 20th because your customer has paid their invoice. If there is anything else I can do to settle any of your issues, let me know. Best of luck in your new role. LuAnn CHRO
