Pros

Working from home was mainly good, some excellent people to work with, some interesting work

Cons

The sales team consists of slimey back-stabbers who work within a culture of blame. Some managers provide no support or guidance yet expect you to meet unrealistic targets. CEO in controlling, unpredictable and expects you to willingly work in your spare time for free and without any compensation. There is no appreciation or gratitude for going above and beyond, it is just expected. Run under a culture of fear.

Pros

Lower-level employees are really friendly, helpful and smart. Even if they are painfully overworked and overwhelmed by the amount of tasks and crazy demands from the management. The salary is ok, especially in Sales. Sales Managers earn incredibly high commission off their employee's hard work, which they ensure by Stick and Carrot. If you can handle the shouting and blaming, then it is possible to be promoted fast, as people leave this company very very quickly. You get to work from home and to pretend you are working while actually checking your emails on your phone in the shops or restaurants.

Cons

The company is disillusioned, stale and old. It's got some really bright people working on lower positions, but the management are stuck in medieval times, turn a blind eye on each other's complete inability to do their jobs or each other's various mental problems. Instead they serve terrible abuse and bullying. Constant blame culture trickling down from the unstable CEO. Also, ridiculous amount of work, that you get lured into by adding more and more tasks in chunks. As people leave they don't hire new ones, but instead distribute the work until you can't handle it, at which point you are blamed for it. Never positive feedback. A lot of shouting, abusive emails and blame from people who have been with the company for many years but actually do no work and instead go for work trips and party it out on company expense. How they are even still employed is beyond any comprehension, but then maybe one hand washes another... CEO is self-absorbed and unpredictable - he can be nice one day and abusive about the same thing the next. Culture of blame, negative feedback and no creative progress. He brags to everyone who would hear about his new luxurious house, while the company sales are hardly breaking even and everyone is being beat up about it. The Chairman is a nice man with strong principles, but at the end of the day he allows his company to be run by a lunatic, so that tells you something too. Some really great, smart and experienced employees and really lovely people are treated very badly in this company and the amount of work put on their backs is unbelievable. A lot of unpaid overtime and weekend work. Managers often either drink or talk about drinking. The customers consider the Sales Management to be not very clever. Which is true.

Pros

Some of the people there are really great.

Cons

Management is overbearing, have unrealistic expectations and lack the foresight to focus on customer satisfaction instead of how much money they can make.
