Pros

-Work from home when not required at client site -Decent Pay -Nice Office / Fun little events - like private theater viewing for employees and family. -Direct Management over technical staff tend to also be technical, so you don't feel like you're reporting to someone who doesn't really have a clue what you do -Pretty open about company's state / profitability / etc -no micromanagement / open discussion on how things are done or should be done within a project.

Cons

-As with all consulting companies I've been with so far, focus is always the billable hour, less holiday time off, bonuses / 401k match all tied to the whim of the CEO based on his/her view of the company's success. -Although possibly changing, lack of assigned seating. First come first serve everyday. I personally find it irritating to not be able to leave my books / papers / snacks etc at work because i may not have the same seat the following day. -expensive / non satisfactory health care -received an excellent annual review w/ no negatives, got a ~2% raise -there byod (bring your own device) policy is just bad and not worth the effort

Pros

Quisitive is a new company born from the ideas of its parent firm. It challenges its consultants to work with bleeding edge technologies, to engage with their clients to solve problems that no one else can, to reach beyond what they think they are capable of, and to go the extra mile to help the company, the client, and the consultant succeed. You'll be grouped with strong teams that work together to get the job done, support each other without fail, and form strong friendships. You'll be recognized for your accomplishments and questioned when you could have done better. You'll be given the opportunity to express your thoughts and ideas and see them come to fruition. You'll work in an open and collaborative environment with frequent employee activities and engagements on the calendar.

Cons

This is a new company. It is still learning who it is and who it wants to be, and the latter has to change with the marketplace which exacerbates the process. There isn't a cut and dried process or procedure for every little thing, and there is opportunity for improvement. Things change fast, and timely communication can be a challenge. As with every startup, there is a risk that you take coming to work here; you have to be self driven and strong. You may be assigned to projects that place you outside of your comfort zone, and you may be working on something that no one else has any experience with either. Management is transparent with the health of the company and pipeline; if you don't like seeing what is behind the curtain, this may make you uncomfortable.
