Pros

R/GA strives to do different kind of work, and push how brands, technology, and the consumer experience intersect. The people are genuinely caring. These things combined make for a great work experience.

Cons

It is a large company, and some of their renowned nimble-ness (transformation) seems to have been lost to bureaucracy and risk-adverse behavior. In addition, the hours can be pretty grueling.

Pros

Well established in the US- with occasional opportunities to work with them and members from other offices. Great colleagues. Great office location.

Cons

Poor and inexperienced leadership. Due to their immaturity & insecurities, it creates a political culture of favouritism and biasness. The leadership team predominantly came from traditional above-the-line background, mostly with marketing campaigns experiences. Still new to Design Thinking Processes and struggle when leading Product & Services Projects. It’s mostly ‘fake it till we make it’- however at the expense of the team under them. It’s a shame R/GA’s culture and standard built by the US office hasn’t been successfully passed on to the Singapore office.
