      Chaos, Lacking Long Term Vision

      Pros

      The company is well respected in the industry (at least in the US market), has great clients and the company hires very smart and talented people .

      Cons

      Day to day the work environment at R/GA is chaotic, offering an extremely poor work life balance. Training opportunites are limited along with career advancement. The company bills itself as a an agency that understands technology, which may be true in some offices. But the office I was employed in mostly on had above the line work coming in the door during my time there.

      So much potential, but held back by a lack of decent processes

      Pros

      There are some fairly talented people at R/GA, they have some great clients and their name will look pretty good on your CV. There's a lot of potential!

      Cons

      There's little or no processes and tools for running projects and as a result projects are usually a shambles which leads to severe scope creep and overruns, not to mention frantic producers. Despite this being a fairly regular occurrence, they don't seem to learn from their experiences. There's a lack of collaboration amongst teams and offices which is a huge shame as there's a lot of talented individuals that could add a hell of a lot of value to all sorts of projects going on around the world.
