Pros

Fair pay, occassional cool client.

Cons

I heard so much great stuff about RGA before working there. I was so excited. And then I realized my office had no real clients, hack leadership, and a penchant to blame people with no power for why we never turned a profit. Oh, and dont have a family if you dont want to get sidelined and managed out. Strat team got months for a pitch and creative got days at the end. Then got blamed for losing a creative pitch that had a 180 page deck with only 4 billboards and all strategy on the rest.

Pros

Company policies and values are very progressive, and there’s a cutlure of innovation that drives a lot of the work. Offices around the globe work really well integrating people from various diaciplines across different countries to work on the same project. The company has transitioned to a remote work approach for real.

Cons

Despite delivering quality work, company has struggled to convert one-time projects into client retainers, which has been causing money problems and all that comes with it (downsizing and layoffs).

Pros

The people creating the work, putting in the time to produce high quality work, and actually supplying the clients with brand development are amazing to work with. It really is top tier talent that need more recognition.

Cons

Leadership and department leads are revenue focused and looking only at business needs, very little regard to the impacts their decisions have on the people affected by their decisions. They want to cut corners to meet budget needs and don't support career development and growth among the employees. There's very little insight into how one can further their career and take initiative to grow - promotions are made seemingly based on if you're buddy buddy with someone in a senior and influential position.
