Pros

Plenty of work Coworkers are fun to work with.

Cons

Unhealthy work environment. Very, very, very dusty in all parts of the production area. When I leave at the end of my shift in the morning, there is a chemical taste and numbness in my mouth. This is something that has happened more and more and the busiest of days.

Pros

Close to home. Decent pay for area. That's about it.

Cons

Management seems out of touch with the hourly workers. Very poor communications from the top. Supervisors seem to make up rules as they go along. Little to no training any more to help moving up in the company. Benefits starting out good but steadily got worse. Lack of work and negative relationship towards management keeps morale down. Job was good for a while but now that I have a need job and get treated better really regret staying there as long as I did.

Dying industry

Pros

Good pay once you've advanced past entry level jobs Benefits include 11 paid holidays and 2 weeks of vacation once you start your second year Overtime opportunities

Cons

The print industry is being decimated by the Internet making long term employment questionable - don't plan on retiring from this job if you're still young Forced overtime On-the-job training is hit or miss because it's not handled by dedicated trainers
