Good pay, crappy management

Pros

The hours were flexible, especially helpful for someone going to school during the day. They have shifts all day and night, although the day shifts are reserved for those who have worked there the longest. The training was great (in my opinion, though I noticed others struggled a bit--older folks and those less comfortable with computers) and once trained you are thrown in with the rest. It's stressful at first but the shift leads are very helpful and always ready to share their knowledge.

Cons

The evening/night management was horrible. I felt like hiding whenever the manager came by even though I was a stellar employee. The manager made me feel like he would never be satisfied with your performance--kind of a twisted motivation technique which makes employees feel extremely under appreciated.

Pay was good...it was close to my house!!

Cons

No communication between anybody!! I had a lead guy telling me one thing...plant manager telling me another!! They talk about excessive cell phone use....but management can walk around using their phones!? Monkey see monkey do!

Pros

I no longer see any pros for this company.

Cons

This was at one time a really good company to work for, however, plants are often closed and wages are only increasing by 1% yearly to keep shareholders happy. Pay is stagnant and benefits are greatly reduced (while costing more) for employees. Pension and 401k matching are now gone too. Research some of the business practices as well as complaints and concerns before accepting a position with this company. Sadly, most of what you read is completely true.
