Pros
Large corporation, so health benefits, paid vacation, and holiday pay come standard and can be gotten and are stable, as opposed to maybe working for a smaller business or a start-up, for instance. Shift work, so good for irregular schedules. As the title says, not food service and largely separated from face to face client interaction, so if you're in retail this would definitely be a step up and lower stress.
Cons
No training, no HR engagement, management is absent (if you're lucky) or wholly incompetent. Regardless, there is NO support. No sick time, pay seems to be lower than industry average, facilities are old and it shows. Chronic understaffing and asking people to work overtime or extra shifts. I'm on a (functionally) permanent 50+ hours a week.
