Pros

R.T. Moore is a growing thriving Plumbing & Mechanical company with high expectations and ambition. We utilize advance technology throughout our projects. We offer growth development opportunities, a LUANCH training program to develop new you upcoming employees (tradesman) in understanding all aspects of plumbing & mechanical installations in the Multifamily and Residential markets. We offer the opportunity to work in multiple States and have two additinal established offices in Florida. We are a large company with a small close-knit feel. A family company started by R.T. Moore and now operated by his son Doug Moore. Doug has strong family values and intends on keeping our company from becoming part of a large conglomerate company. Throughout our growth we have developed and are still developing strong processes that allow us to become a efficient operation. We have strong core values and a ever developing culture. We believe in ... Doing What is Right Building Strong Relationships Sharing in Company Success Believe me when I say that growth brings on many unforeseen challenges, R.T. Moore works hard to thrive, develop and work through these challenges, we have much more to learn and develop, and we have the ability to overcome. I'm not only Proud to be part of R.T. Moore, I'm home with R.T. Moore.

Cons

Although we have a competitive Health Insurance program and the company continues to research and develop in this area. It would be a huge reward to bring direct cost down to our employees.

Pros

They pay on time, good working relations with other co-workers inside the office, and continuously growing. Great for individuals who excel on their own and can handle a fast-paced environment.

Cons

Communication gaps between management and employees. Profit sharing, PTO programs, and insurance seem to be less than competitive compared to other businesses.

Pros

There really are no pros.

Cons

The first line of this company's mission statement reads: Be Honest & Fair. You will receive everything but that here. Doug Moore does not participate in the daily operations anymore and it shows. The executive team fashions themselves as the smartest person in any room when in my experience, they are lucky to be a distant third. Quick to call any win a "team" effort, but equally as quick to distance themselves from any perceived failure. My problems began when I started to shine in my role with no help from my manager. The acting CEO here and Director of Logistics are very dangerous, as they portend to be all-knowing while knowing next to nothing. The pay here is grossly inadequate for what is expected in return. Unless you enjoy two-faced, lazy executives, who never accept the blame for anything, do not waste your time here.
