Unprofessional work environment, useless mid-level management, and completely unethical
Pros
They offer a fair benefits package.
Cons
- Compensation is below industry standards - Mid-level managers do very little to build a rapport with associates. Don't expect your supervisor to speak to you unless they need something. With that said, don't expect them to say hello or acknowledge you in the hallway or break room. - Expect to work under hostile conditions, managers and coordinators are allowed/expected to send threats and if you dare to complain to HR then expect a full out war. - Most employees are uneducated and have no previous professional work experience which makes the office environment extremely unprofessional and catty. Management encourages this type of behavior thinking that "friendly competition" will motivate (intimidate) employees to work harder - There is a lot of turnover. The good managers that we've had have moved on - while the rest of the dolts have stayed and unfortunately have been promoted. - The company culture is set up, so that you can only specialize in one specific area which makes it impossible to diversify your scope of knowledge therefore making it difficult to move onto a new job that would require you to know multiple areas of billing - Expect little to no training. Management doesn't train anyone - they will only manage you. Coordinators will not train you unless they like you and they will lie to management saying they've trained you to get you in trouble.
