Pros

Good opportunity for advancement. Overall good culture In some teams PMs have a lot of autonomy to run their projects effectively.

Cons

Experience highly dependent on individual managers or VPs. Culture varies widely even between closely connected teams. Little to no remote work, even for individual contributors or people with geographically dispersed teams - some teams at the point of taking attendance.
