Pros

The people are great to work with, there is a lot of support and everyone works together to find success. Your talents are identified and groomed for further success.

Cons

Like every organization, as you advance in your career the room to 'get to the next level' becomes more and more difficult.

Pros

stable if you know how to sell, sell , sell. you will grow fast if you are good at sales. they do not care about your educational background as much, they do care about your Canadian Securities Courses more than anything else. If you know how to make management happy, you will grow! If you have a micromanager style, you will grow! If you are submissive, you will stay as a receptionist-forever and retire with a guaranteed base salary of $1800 monthly

Cons

you will not grow as an internally candidate if you do not sell; even if your dream job is not sales related. It's better to apply as an external candidate if you want a very specific position that is not sales related. Once you are in retail, you will stay in retail.
