Pros

Exciting environment. Big company. Great benefit. RBC has great culture in the sense that it cares about its client and always want to do the best for them. Business is growing very quickly, actually one of the quickest among all investment banks.

Cons

Trading business' margin is getting smaller. You need to be able to navigate through different politicians to get things done

Pros

Good benefits, not great. Salaries in some areas are depressed in comparison to other areas of the bank.

Cons

High expectations and targets without corresponding payouts on bonuses. Many managers are promoted for their technical knowledge over their managerial skills. This equates to poor management in many areas which impacts employee satisfaction and productivity.
