RE/MAX World HQ used to be a great place to work.

Pros

Benefits, holiday party, fun get togethers in lobby several times a year with catered appetizers and adult beverages.

Cons

Leadership has gone downhill, no longer feels like a family oriented company, too corporate. Not backfilling positions when people leave, making employees overworked and burned out.

Pros

Good people, systems and TV advertising

Cons

Those TV ads are coming out of my pocket. Disgusting monthly fees - half to the broker, the remainder to ReMax HQ. I could no longer justify ripping myself off very month just to stay with the ReMax brand. The ReMax model no longer works in a business that has moved to 100% commission and nominal brokerage fees.
