REEF has a bold vision to reimagine underutilized urban spaces into neighborhood nodes, hubs, and parks and truly help neighborhoods thrive. The opportunity to build a great business with real impact is enormous and the possibilities for career growth and learning are unlimited. We are building rapidly and doing something that's never been done before. Thats rare.

Cons

The hard thing about things. This is a startup building something thats never been built before so its hard work, often long hours, and theres no playbook. We are defining it together. If that energizes you its a great place to work. If you arent comfortable with a blank canvas then this isnt the right place for you. Some folks like to build the house some folks like to live in a house thats already built. We are building. It's hard but fun.

The experience and learnings you get at REEF are not comparable to any other company / industry. This is a unique opportunity in which we are working to execute an incredible vision to transform not only the parking industry but also the real estate industry. The targets we are going after are ambitious and this allows employees to get a ton of exposure and responsibility in all sorts of projects - Its up to each employee to define its own destiny and show how much of that responsibility is she/he able to take (no room for complainers or people looking to be pampered). Everyone is always willing to give a hand when needed, but its a very "figure things out yourself" environment. Failure is not only accepted, but also encouraged as long as it comes with learnings and improvement going forward. There are lots of projects going on, so employees have a lot of opportunities for lateral mobility You get to live and be part of what others see in the news - This is one of the most exciting and rewarding pros of the job

Cons

Intense work environment with little downtime - We are going after very ambitious targets, which requires a significant effort (this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone as it is one of the first things people mention during the interview)
