Pros
Extremely difficult to identify any current pros. This organization was on a path of greatness no more than 1-2 years ago. Since then, the organization has struggled to maintain profitability, morale, structure, and leadership alignment.
Cons
1. Non-competitive salaries - Pay structure is by levels ($80k, $110k, $150k, etc.,). It is truly disappointing, especially during a time of inflation and increased interest rates. 2. Hiring Freeze - What legitimate organization is under a hiring freeze during one the most employee friendly hiring times in US history? This organization has been under a strict freeze for nearly a year, during a time in which top talent is widely available. Sure sign of a start-up on the brink of selling or going under. 3. Toxic Working Environment - This comes down to organizational maturity. When you raise a risk, be prepared to be replaced 4. Weak leadership - Not too much to say here. Weak across the board. Held hostage by their own emotions, poor decision making, and a failure to address and mitigate legitimate risks. 5. Don't live up to commitment's - The organization will lure you in by offering you a 13.6% bonus. You'll never receive 13.6%, let alone any bonus at all. They will also offer you equity. This organization was planning to go IPO two years ago. Two years later, no plan in sight.
