      Avoid their gaslighting for your own sanity

      They promoted me across departments and out of retail

      Cons

      - I was underpaid compared to my direct peers by 25% - During my four years at HQ, there were three separate sets of layoffs - Career advancement is given incredible lip service, but you have to chase it all yourself - Management has no vision or consistency

      Pros

      Great discounts, mostly great people, good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Everything else. There's a reason the CEO has a below 40% rating. The entire leadership team is failing. They seem to be throwing darts during planning meetings to see what next plan will be. IT will be reduced in 1/2 in two years. Out sourcing position to contractors in Latin America and India.

      -Work life balance was absolutely amazing -As a contractor the base pay was a lot less than what the market I was told was at -THEE best colleague I have every had to date as an engineer -Going into being a SWE with no real world experience, my teams reinforced my learning process and took their time to coach me

      Cons

      -As a contractor you don't get any benefits like FTE vacation, holiday, PTO, or discounts -As a contractor the pay is less than a FTE even though you are doing the exact same work
