Very rewarding for employees who sincerely love individuals with severe disabilities.

Cons

Some Direct Care employees are negligent, abusive. Hard to watch. Write ups are a joke. Extremely frustrating and sad.

Pros

They have night shifts. That can help with someone in school. I think if someone needs experience working with IDD individuals this is also a good place to work.

Cons

They can care for their residents better. Raise the pay or have pay differences for later shifts and be better at allowing their employees to take days off requested in advance. Overall management can be better as well.

The staff there are nice and will help you with all the run downs

Cons

Seem like management does not care much about their workers. Also they need to do better on how they treat some of the patients , just because they’re different doesn’t mean they have to be treated different
