Pros

Coworkers, drug reps bring lunches sometimes so that means free lunch, and gaining experience.

Cons

Management does not care. Simple as that. They value profit over doing the ethical thing. They start drama in the workplace. They set unrealistic expectations for employees and get mad when employees don’t fulfill them: i.e. running a group of 12 people and 3 people show up but it’s the clinician’s fault that the other 9 don’t come. RHA is known in the community for being unethical and they hold that reputation well.

Pros

They try hard to take care of you as an employee. The managers are very understanding and accommodating! Great co-workers. A lot of work, but manageable. All jobs are hard so it’s about choosing what hard you want.

A lot of notes, but that’s normal for most community mental health agency’s

I enjoyed the work that I did there.

Cons

Very little training or support for employees. They do not back up their employees and expect them to do more work than the job should entail. The pay is also very low. I was there for several years and never got a raise.
