Pros

Nothing. The 'legacy' employee and memories. All good people are going now because place is so bad to work now.

Cons

Everything. Low pay, poor communication, bad leadership, no direction. They only care for the money now and lie to employees that they care. They dont. Management asks employees to make fake reviews.

Pros

Nothing since the acquisition, things keep getting worse

Cons

The culture is bad, they will work their employees until they burn out and quit, replace seasoned employees with new grads and repeat. You will work a ton of unpaid overtime. The pay is well below average, and they treat their employees like a commodity that can be replaced. The positive reviews on this website were actively asked for in meetings by senior management

Pros

Internal Stock Options was a nice way to buy into the company. Great views from the office, overlooking Toronto Decent company benefits

Cons

The last two years at RL have been a nightmarish-roller coaster. There is no longer a sense of transparency, which used to be one of the best things about RL. And if a Manager tries to be transparent now, we do not believe them, considering they blind sided 10+ employees with termination papers for what would seem like no reason. They fired, some great employees who were hard workers, kind, and always went up and above. The sense that this is a family atmosphere is gone. Even from the beginning the company spent money on the wrong things to lure you in. The pay is mediocre for downtown Toronto, but there is a unwritten rule; at RL you get all of these cool fun office spaces, but you had better work more than 50-60 hours a week to use them or you will be seen as not a hard worker. The company had so much potential - where did it go?
