Pros

You get paid on time. Sad to see a once unique and fun company transform into a corporation souly focused on maximizing profit over all else.

Cons

Racing to bottom, maximizing profit for private equity investors after RL sold in 2018, and whilst they are making bank, clients and employees are being squeezed dry. No wonder so many have jumped ship. Acquisitions are the main focus of the company now, gobbling up all competition, regardless of suitability to existing software, resulting in confusion and stagnation, with limited development of aging systems. But! It's ok, moving all development to North Macedonia will ensure that hospitals in Canada, America and England will have their best interests at heart and ensure their requirements will be achieved.

Pros

Competitive salary. Clean open plan office. Amazing IT helpdesk.

Cons

Absolutely no guidance and no support during the first months. No knowledge management, everything relies on asking the right person at the right time if they are available. No team work, everyone seems to be in his own island. Not fluid communication amongst team members and management. Lack of training in the solution, a pain if you work in the technical team. High turnover, employees either have been working for many years or they are new in the company.

Pros

-some colleagues are initially very helpful

Cons

-Overpromises on training and progression opportunities but not delivering. -Terrible salary for the amount of work that you do. -Huge tech debt which leads to teams being overworked, especially in support -The SLT will brag about success in town halls but pay doesn't reflect this (certainly evident in support) -If you do get a "promotion" the transitional phase is long and sometimes would even require you to work 2 roles at once without proper renumeration -Many people are only in it for themselves and will take credit for anything even if undeserved -Good luck getting a personal development plan, management will treat you like a grunt but don't worry if you're lucky, you'll get a quarterly email saying "we know it's hard but well done" P.s. don't fall for their usual responses here about being in the top 100 companies to work for.

RLDatix Response

Thank you for the response and I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience over your 4 years with RLDatix. We did win "Most Loved Workplace", which was achieved by using our own employee engagement survey data. Our Talent Development department has rolled out 2 different development programs with additional opportunities to come for our colleagues. Development is truly owned by the employee. It's up to them to work with their manager on their development plan and drive it forward with the support of their manager. It sounds like RLDatix may not have been the best fit for you and we wish you all the best.
