Needs some work

Pros

Nice staff, plenty of work, gas card, company vehicle, and promotion opertunities,

Cons

Extremely old testing equipment from the 80's, old barly running company vehicles with no A/C. When ask for eval for ability to do other inspections you are always told later. Pay is alright but not as good as most companies doing this. Very unorganized. They call you the same day with so many different changes in the schedule even though they're suppose to have things planned out at least a day ahead of time.

Worst Job I ever had

Pros

They took me in, trained me and paid OK for entry level. Tried to keep me working at a big job that was a 100 miles from my house - put me up in a hotel but it had bedbugs. When I wanted to come home they gave in but fired me soon after.

Cons

Too many hours. I work to live, not vice versa. Always asking you to do more stuff even though you are swamped with the stuff you're already doing. Company truck was crappy and 2-wheel drive (NOT good for mud or ice). Most of the employees hated it and would talk bad about you if you did your job.

Pros

They increased the PTO and holidays, but it is absolutely frowned upon to use any days off.

Cons

This is a very toxic work environment. There is so much talk about team building and working as a cohesive unit. Your wall of values is a joke. In fact, there are a handful of people who obviously hold the power and treat everyone else like puppets. If you don't move the way they want you to, you are forced to either quit or you are fired. It is their game and everyone else is their pawns. Ability to do the job successfully does not matter. If you are put on the black list, either because they don't like your shirt or you misspelled a word in an email, you have no hope. You will be blasted in meetings in front of other employees and eventually forced out of the company. Everyone is aware of the list, and as soon as a person leaves, the doors are shut and the Handful walks around laughing and mocking them. As other employees watch this behavior, they lose any team moral and resort to putting their heads down, working, and hoping they fly under the radar. So many good, decent, honest and hardworking people have been lost to this circus. It's hard to watch them drop like flies.
