Pros

Great coworkers and management. Great team building activities. ROI Revolution does an amazing job accommodating everything that we may need(aka, I didn't like my chair and requested a new one. They put it together and had it by my desk in a week.) I walk into work every day excited to see everyone and get to work. There is a great atmosphere here and everyone is very supportive and attentive. Company lunches every Friday, team lunch and teambuilders once a month. You definitely have the opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge and make lasting friends here.

Cons

It is not a particularly easy job but you know what the job is when you sign up. As long as you can commit to working hard every day, there shouldn't be a problem.

Pros

*Work: -Lots of different responsibilities. Work NEVER becomes mundane. -What I do is very rewarding. Over time, I received the opportunity to interact with CEO's, VP's and Marketing Managers across dozens of retail industries. -Fantastic experience, especially for an entry level position. -Management and coworkers take the time to help you learn and grow professionally. -Great balance between direction and freedom: When starting out, you are given a game plan/directions from management to help you grow into the position. Once you grow and prove yourself, there is a great amount of freedom into how you form your schedule. It is expected that you are efficient at time management, because there is always something to be done. -I truly do not work with anyone who is incompetent. The rigorous interview process helps to bring in the best and brightest. That may not seem like a big deal, but after previous poor work experiences, it is a HUGE plus! -Opportunity to travel. -Emphasis on ethical selling. Focus is put on being a consultant for retailers first and foremost. -The sales team is not built for a high employee churn rate like a lot of other companies - they invest in your potential! *Company benefits/ Environment: -Awesome CEO who definitely cares about everyone in the company. -Fully stocked kitchen that employees are free to access anytime. (Seriously, there is a drink machine with soda, Gatorade and chilled Starbucks drinks) -Game room with a ping pong table, Xbox 360 and dart board. -Catered lunch on Fridays. Employees can clock out early on Friday for an in-office happy hour. -Company is growing constantly. You feel like you're apart of a healthy, energetic atmosphere. -Great health, dental and vision plan. -401K benefits.

Cons

-Fast paced -Expectation to perform at a high level -Constant sales pressure -Have to read a couple educational books per month -Facing rejection or difficult people to speak with (These are all typical expectations of sales jobs)

Pros

Opportunities for collaboration and education through ROI-U program, team dynamics, meetings with colleagues within same role, and trainings to solve problems and stay up to date with changes in the industry.

Cons

Work life balance could be improved but leadership is willing to help prioritize projects to ensure employees can complete tasks within work hours and have a life outside of the office.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as part of the ROI team! I also love our emphasis on continued education. Not only do we have the opportunity to learn through formal training workshops and pop-up learning events, but because we work with so many intelligent, driven team members, we also get the benefit of constantly learning from each other. I am happy to hear you have been able to work with leadership to help you strike a healthy balance between life and work. Of course, if you have any feedback on how we can continue to improve work-life balance/work-life integration, please feel free to reach out or join my weekly Open Office Hours. I'd love to hear from you! Best, Barbara Green SVP of HR
